Attorneys typically have to comb through and summarize piles of deposition transcripts—a manual process that takes a lot of time and is subject to human error. As a premier deposition summary, case analysis, and trial preparation provider, 4Corners Legal was pressured to improve its processes without sacrificing quality. With rising workloads and no in-house resources to adapt existing solutions, 4Corners Legal collaborated with Kwanso to build its AI-powered Deposition Summarizer.

Claude as the reasoning layer
Used Anthropic's Claude to read each deposition, follow the testimony, and condense it without losing the legal context attorneys rely on.
Large-Scale PDF Processing
Enabled seamless processing of documents exceeding 1,000 pages, organizing them into structured, accessible summaries.
Customizable Templates
Developed three proprietary summary formats: Executive Summary, Detailed Breakdown, and Comprehensive Analysis, each tailored to different use cases.
Built on Claude
The intelligence behind the summarizer is Claude, Anthropic's model. We chose it for the part of the job that is actually hard: reading hundreds of pages of question-and-answer testimony and writing something an attorney is willing to cite.
